ABERPORTH

DESCRIPTION

This is a beachbreak and a reef. It takes a big swell to set it off but it is quality when it works. At mid tide an A-frame breaks in front of the rocks in the middle and at low tide it is a long left. The reef is a short, hollow right that breaks on a shallow slab.

CONDITIONS

West through to south east is offshore and mid to low tide is best. It also holds an onshore at all tides.

ACCESS

Head north from Cardigan on the A487 for about 5 miles and its signposted from the main road. Park by the beach.
